In response to the invitation addressed to EVA; on Monday, November 28, 2022, Dr. Saada Bendenia, Head of the Algerian Veterinary Space, participated in the work of the tenth session of the Commission for the Control of Migratory Locusts in the Western Region «CLCPRPO», which is under the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations «FAO», as well as the fifteenth meeting of the Executive Committee, which was held From November 27 to December 01, 2022, in Oran Province.

The session was supervised by Mr. / Dr. Mohamed Abdelhafid Hani, Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development. As it gathered 14 African countries in Algeria to enhance the endeavors of South-South cooperation.

On the sidelines of the activities of this session, Dr. Saada Ben Dounia had a meeting with the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, where he was offered a request for an interview as soon as possible to discuss the most important files that concern the reality and prospects of the Algerian veterinarian in detail, to contribute to his recovery from the marginalization and chaos he suffers from and which he suffers from. The noble profession of veterinary medicine was humiliated, stressing the file of the National Deanship of Veterinarians, as the Minister welcomed the request with pleasure and transparency, and promised to meet it soon.

In the hope that our demands will find the expected response, we hope that we will meet the expectations of the Algerian veterinarian.

It should be noted that on the sidelines of the session, the meeting took place with Dr. Nuri Ali Shadi / Advisor and Director of the Office of the Minister of Agriculture and Livestock in Libya. Where they discussed ways to prepare for the third edition of the Maghreb veterinary space, to be held next April 2023, God willing, on the territory of the eastern region, Libya.
