AVSF Launches the “One Health Mobile Clinic” on World Rabies Day
The Algerian Veterinary Space Foundation (AVSF) proudly announces the launch of its pioneering initiative, the “One Health Mobile Clinic,” to mark the occasion of World Rabies Day 2025. This innovative project reflects the principle of “One Health, One Life”, bringing together animal health, human health, and environmental well-being in one unified mission.
A Historic Initiative at the 18th AVSF Congress
The One Health Mobile Clinic will be officially inaugurated during the 18th Algerian Veterinary Congress, taking place in Oran from October 5–9, 2025, in collaboration with Au Bonheur Des 4 Pattes – Oran.
The clinic represents a milestone for veterinary medicine in Algeria — a fully free, community-oriented program that highlights the essential role of veterinarians in protecting public health while promoting animal welfare.
What the Clinic Offers — 100% Free of Charge
Over three days, from October 6–8, 2025, the Mobile Clinic will provide a wide range of services designed to both protect communities and advance veterinary practice. These include:
🐕 Mass rabies vaccination and sterilization campaign for pets and stray animals.
🩺 Comprehensive clinical examinations for pets and farm animals.
🤝 Consultations and knowledge exchange with leading veterinarians from Algeria and abroad.
🔬 Advanced diagnostics including laboratory tests, clinical screening, and ultrasound.
📚 Awareness workshops on animal health, responsible pet ownership, and disease prevention.
💡 Live demonstrations of cutting-edge veterinary technologies.
All treatments, consultations, diagnostics, and surgeries (where possible) will be offered completely free of charge.
