The Algerian Veterinary Students Network (AVSN) is the official student branch of the Algerian Veterinary Space Foundation (AVSF) — a national framework that connects all veterinary students and scientific clubs across Algeria’s universities and institutes.
AVSN was established to create a bridge between the academic environment and the professional veterinary world, ensuring that students are not only well-trained but also empowered to contribute to the development of the veterinary field in Algeria and beyond.
It represents a community of motivated, creative, and forward-thinking students who share the same goal: to advance veterinary medicine through science, collaboration, and leadership.
-
AVSN was created with a clear vision — to build a unified network of veterinary students that promotes scientific excellence, social engagement, and professional development.
Through its activities, AVSN aims to:Strengthen collaboration between veterinary faculties in Algeria.
Support scientific clubs in organizing events, workshops, and training sessions.
Encourage innovation and research among young veterinarians.
Promote the One Health concept, linking animal, human, and environmental health.
Represent Algerian students in national and international veterinary platforms.
-
AVSN operates under the umbrella of AVSF, following the same core principles of transparency, collaboration, and service to the profession.
The network supports:
Scientific development, by offering students access to expert-led lectures and training.
Leadership growth, by involving students in real projects, congresses, and community campaigns.
International connection, by linking Algerian students with global veterinary student networks.
AVSN is more than a student network — it’s a movement of young professionals shaping the future of veterinary medicine.
-
Membership in AVSN is open to:
Scientific Clubs within veterinary faculties (officially affiliated with AVSF).
Individual Students who want to participate in events and initiatives.
Each affiliated club represents its university and becomes part of a larger national body that coordinates with AVSF on academic and community projects.
Student members benefit from:
Training programs, webinars, and congress participation.
Recognition and certificates for active involvement.
Opportunities to collaborate with other universities and international partners.
