Specialized First Aid Training for Dog and Cat Bites Successfully Completed in Oran

The Algerian Red Crescent (ARC), in collaboration with the Algerian Veterinary Space Foundation (AVSF), proudly announced the successful completion of a specialized training course focused on first aid response in cases of dog and cat bites. The session was held on Wednesday, October 8th, at the Ahmed Wahbi Institute of Music in Oran, opposite the French Consulate.

AVSF Announces the 18th Algerian Veterinary Congress in Oran

The Algerian Veterinary Space Foundation will host its 18th Veterinary Congress from October 5–9, 2025 in Oran, under the theme “Modern Veterinary Medicine: Between Practice and Technology.” The event will feature lectures, workshops, and training sessions exploring innovation, artificial intelligence, and the One Health approach.

AVSF proudly represented Algeria at the 40th World Veterinary Organization Conference in Washington, alongside the AVMA Convention 2025. Dr. Anis Bouraba made history as the youngest WVA Board Member ever and the first Algerian elected to the position, while President Dr. Saada Bendenia attended the General Assembly for the first time in Algeria’s history.
